About Peyote

Peyote cactus (Lophophora Williamsii) is small, thornless and originates from the south of Texas and northern Mexico. The most important psychoactive ingredient of Peyote is mescaline. The Peyote trip is stronger than the San Pedro trip.

Effects of Peyote

It may take a while before the mescaline starts to work, but then it could be one of the most beautiful experience you will ever have. Mescaline is somewhat similar to LSD-25, but it is more soft, colourful, warmer and nicer. Sometimes you can travel through time and space, or communicate with your own spirit. The Peyote trip is stronger than the San Pedro trip, but so is the initial nausea. A trip can last 6 to 12 hours. You might feel a little sick before the trip begins. But there's no sign of a hang-over afterwards.

1 peyote cactus. We sell our peyote per piece (2 - 3 years old/ 2 - 3 cm in diameter).

Usage

For a good Peyote trip you need 6 to 8 cacti of 2-3 years old. The bigger and older a cactus, the more mescaline it contains, so you can always decide to let it grow bigger before use, but note that it is a difficult plant. It needs sunlight and a little water.

3 ways to consume Peyote Cactus

Eat the peyote cactus raw, is the traditional way to consume the peyote cactus. It tastes very bitter! You also have to eat the root, and chew for a long time because your saliva takes up the mescaline.

Eat the peyote cactus baked, First dry the cactus, than cut it into slices and put it in a oven on 50°C for 4 or 5 hours. Then you can eat the slices.

Drink peyote cactus like a tea, cut the Peyote cactus in little pieces and boil it for half an hour, than drink the liquid like tea.

Warnings

When you're using Peyote make sure there's someone with you to assist you when neccessary. In case of a bad trip, Seresta or Valium can help!
