About Wild Dagga Extract:
Wild Dagga, Leonotis leonurus or Lion’s ear/tail, is a common South African plant with bright orange flowers and pointy leaves that bear a striking resemblance to the leaves of marijuana.
Effects:
Consuming Wild Dagga has a mild calming effect, similar to, but less potent than THC. The high can also include effects experienced in a weed high: mild euphoria, slight perceptual changes, dizziness, nausea, sweating, sedation, and lightheadedness.
This plant has reportedly been used for a long time in traditional Khoi medicine for treating a range of ailments including headaches, coughs, fever, tuberculosis, jaundice, muscle cramps, high blood pressure, diabetes, viral hepatitis, dysentery, asthma, hemorrhoids, and diarrhea.
An animal study reported that dagga leaf extract has antinociceptive, anti-inflammatory, and hypoglycemic properties, and the plant actually contains a terpene (Marrubiin, which has antioxidant and cardioprotective properties) and a cannabinoid (Docosatetraenoylethanolamide, which acts on the CB1 receptor), just like cannabis, with which it’s often compared.
Use of Wild Dagga Extract:
The extract can be dissolved into a tea or added to a joint with other herbs such as Damiana, Marihuanilla, or Blue Lotus and smoked.
Quantity:
The package contains 5g of Wild Dagga extract.
